So hi, my name's Becca, and besides writing, I'm a history and politics junkie. If you go on my Tumblr (and my other one, propaganda-for-life), you'll see that one of my greatest joys in life is promoting the liberal, feminist, socialist doctrine. Hurr.

Now, when I said that I'm "slightly crazy" up there, keep in mind that it was Doctorow who said that "writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia." XD What I meant is that my characters just... are always in my head. Or perhaps I'm always "switching" into their world. Sometimes I feel like I'm a ghost in their world. I can't interact with the people in it at all, but I can experience everything they can, and the only reason I'm there is to relate their story to our world. Gah, that probably sounds insane. Hope that doesn't deter any of you. I'm really a nice person most of the time, I swear!

This will be my third NaNoWriMo, or perhaps my second an a half, since this year, I will be rewriting last year's, which got completely eaten by a hard drive crash.
