One of the awesome things about NaNoWriMo is that it’s totally free to participate; the Office of Letters and Light run such a wonderful event that we couldn’t help but become a sponsor. So, we’ve decided that for every 2011 Wrimo who signs up for a full membership to PangurPad before the end of December, we’ll give five percent of that to the OLL as well!

What is PangurPad anyway?

PangurPad is a community of authors writing amazing works in just about any genre you can imagine. It features a custom made set of tools, designed to provide a fresh take on writing software; gone are the tired metaphors of simulated caulk pinboards and yellow sticky notes, replaced with efficient and modern methods for collating and linking your ideas with your story.

PangurPad will become a marketplace for self-publishing writers to make their works known to a global community of readers published as e-books or in print.

PangurPad provides user created, genre specific communities and forums for you to start, join and be a part of; from Sci-Fi to Romance and every sub-genre and fanfic group in between.

I and Pangur Bán my cat,
Tis a like task we are at:
Hunting mice is his delight,
Hunting words I sit all night.

Better far than praise of men
Tis to sit with book and pen;
Pangur bears me no ill will,
He too plies his simple skill.

Tis a merry thing to see
At our tasks how glad are we,
When at home we sit and find

In the hero Pangur's way;
